An Cuu Ward prepares program to commemorate the 238th anniversary of Emperor Quang Trung’s accession

The program will take place on January 1st and 2nd, 2027, at Quang Trung Monument, the Ban Mountain area and several main streets in the ward.

The program will include ceremonial and cultural activities. The ceremonial activities will feature an incense-offering ceremony and a re-enactment of Emperor Quang Trung’s accession to the throne. The cultural activities, under the theme ‘Marching Swiftly in the Footsteps of Quang Trung’, will include cultural and artistic activities recreating the heroic atmosphere of the Tay Son movement.

The program will be organised in a solemn, safe, economical and practical manner, with the aim of creating a positive impact in the community. Its content will focus on educating people about the tradition of patriotism, fostering national pride and the spirit of solidarity, while recreating historical milestones in a harmonious, vivid and accurate manner.

At the meeting, delegates focused on providing feedback on the content, script and format of the program, as well as communications and event services, ensuring public security and safety, and other necessary preparations.

To prepare for the event, An Cuu Ward People’s Committee organized field trips to study and learn from the experience of Tay Son Commune, Gia Lai Province, and Dong Da Ward, Ha Noi. Through these trips, the locality studied the approaches to organizing cultural and historical programs while developing content suited to local conditions.

An Cuu Ward People’s Committee will continue to consult researchers and historians to ensure the program’s historical value, accuracy and suitability.
