On September 17 - 18, in Hue City, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, together with the Department of Dike Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, in collaboration with UNICEF held a seminar with the theme “Training on Child-Centered Communication in the Situations of Natural Disasters”.

On September 16th, Hue City Transportation Construction Investment Project Management Board reported that it had submitted a proposal to Hue City People’s Committee for approval of the investment policy for building the new Vinh Tu bridge across Tam Giang lagoon, connecting Quang Dien commune with Phong Quang ward. The project’s total investment is estimated at over 1.500 billion VND.

The Management Board of Dong Ba Market organized a review and award ceremony for the contest “Exploring the History of the Formation and Development of Dong Ba Market (1899 - 2024)”. On the afternoon of July 30, Hue City Military Command announced that it is coordinating with the Zone 1 Construction Investment Project Management Board to review procedures and clear the site to dismantle military blockhouses located on the Thuong Thanh (the Rampart Upper-surface) relic and inside Hue Imperial Citadel.

On the morning of July 25, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, held a Continuing Medical Education (CME) course titled “Strengthening Integrated Management of Hypertension, Diabetes, and Stroke Prevention in the Community”; it also donated 2.000 electronic blood pressure monitors to health stations and people in the area.

On July 12, Hue City Project Management Board for Transport Construction Investment announced that the City People’s Committee approved the investment project for building an overpass across Tam Giang Lagoon.

On the afternoon of July 10th, the Department of Finance, in coordination with Luxembourg Project Management Board, Project Technical Support Office, and Mekong Herbals Joint Stock Company (Mekong Herbals), held a contract signing ceremony for the production and consumption of organic standard hibiscus flowers with households in Phong Thai and Phong Dien Wards.

On May 22nd, during his working visit to Vietnam, Director of the UNESCO World Heritage Center, Lazare Eloundou Assomo, toured several heritage sites in Hue including the Imperial Citadel, the Museum of Royal Antiquities, and An Dinh Palace to conduct a field survey and learn about the management, conservation and promotion of World Cultural Heritage values ​​in the locality.
