On the morning of February 8th (the 11th day of At Ty Lunar New Year, 2025), Trieu Son Dong Village council, in collaboration with Trieu Son Dong neighbourhood group (Huong Vinh Ward, Phu Xuan District), organized the Traditional Boat Racing Festival. The event celebrated Hue’s transition to a centrally-governed municipality as well as the 578th Memorial Day of the Founding Ancestors of Trieu Son Dong Village, while provided a festive atmosphere for locals to enjoy the Lunar New Year.

A great number of tourists and locals flocked into the Huyen Tran Temple Festival held on At Ty new year’s days. This was an event held by the Department of Culture and Sports, opening on the morning of the lunar January 9th (February 6) at Huyen Tran Cultural Center, located at the foot of Ngu Phong Mountain (An Tay Ward, Thuan Hoa District).

As scheduled, on the morning of February 7, thousands of locals and visitors flocked to the communal house area of Lai An village (also known as Sinh village), Duong No Ward (Thuan Hoa District) to watch the wrestling festival. The Sinh village wrestling festival is a traditional festival with a rich martial spirit, and over 400 years old in the Ancient Capital land.

On January 22nd, at Truong Sanh Palace in Hue Imperial Citadel, locals and visitors were delighted in experiencing the traditional Tet atmosphere within the royal Palace.

To celebrate the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3rd, 1930 - February 3rd, 2025) and create the joyful and exciting atmosphere to honor the glorious Party and welcome the Lunar New Year of the Snake, Thuan Hoa District will organize various activities to celebrate the Party and the Spring. These activities aim to meet the recreational needs of locals and tourists.

On the morning of August 28, Vietnam Grab LLC collaborated with Tourism Department to hold a ceremony to present the project of installing Grab stone benches and decorative pillars at 3 locations, including Hue Imperial Citadel, Dong Ba Market, and Phu Mong Street.

On the morning of August 25, on the routes around the Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue City People’s Committee held an event to launch a pilot bike route every Sunday morning. The event had the participation of Hue City leaders, along with hundreds of cadres and locals.

In an effort to stimulate tourism and create a vibrant atmosphere to attract locals and visitors to the Imperial City Night Street, the People's Committee of Hue City has directed relevant agencies to organize community cultural and artistic activities on the evenings of June 21 and 22.

During the two days of June 8 - 9, impressive and unique paragliding performances took place in the sky above Tam Giang Lagoon and Quang Cong, Quang Ngan beaches (Quang Dien District), creating a sense of novelty and excitement for locals and visitors.

On May 27, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Dien District, Head of the Organizing Committee of the “Song nuoc Tam Giang” Festival (“Tam Giang Waves” Festival) 2024, said that the locality would organize paragliding performances for the first time on Tam Giang Lagoon, and local beaches to serve the locals and visitors.
