Over 200 officers and locals of Hoa Chau Ward participate in blood donation
HNN.VN - On August 25, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Hoa Chau Ward in coordination with the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center of Hue Central Hospital organized the “Voluntary Blood Donation Day” festival.

The activity attracted the participation of over 200 officers, cadres, youth union members, members of organizations, and a great number of local people.
The average amount of blood donated by each participant ranged from 250ml to 350ml.
At the end of the festival, the organizers received 210 safe blood units, promptly replenishing the blood bank to serve emergency care and treatment at Hue Central Hospital.
Mr. Vo Viet Duc, Deputy Chairman of the Ward People’s Committee and Head of the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Hoa Chau Ward stated that in the coming time, the ward will continue to promote and encourage officials, union members, association members, and local people to actively participate in blood donation, spreading the voluntary blood donation movement more widely in Hoa Chau, thereby contributing to building the image of a compassionate and caring Hoa Chau community.
