On July 20, Hue Central Hospital hosted the 7th Imperial City Eye Meeting 2026 (ICEM 2026) under the theme “From Fundamentals to Challenges in Surgery.” Taking place from July 20 - 22, the event brings together over 200 ophthalmologists, researchers, and healthcare professionals from Vietnam and abroad to discuss the latest advances in ophthalmology, strengthen international collaboration, and enhance the quality of eye care services for the public.

For the first time, Bun bo Hue (Hue beef noodle soup) will be celebrated through a nationwide festival. Featuring more than 80 food stalls, live culinary demonstrations serving hundreds of visitors, a stage production recounting the dish's more than 400-year history, and a variety of interactive experiences, these will turn Thuong Bac Park to become a gathering place for food enthusiasts from July 23rd to 26th.

Assoc. On the afternoon of July 17, Hue City Department of Home Affairs held a mid-year review conference on promoting overseas employment under labor contracts in conjunction with the operation of the two-tier local government model.
