Following the directive from the Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, on November 10, Hue City Civil Defense Steering Committee issued an official dispatch requesting the People's Committees of wards and communes in the city to conduct surveys to mark the highest flood traces during the flooding event, from October 25 to November 3, within the premises of offices, schools, low-lying routes, public works, and flood warning towers in the local areas.

On the morning of November 10th, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, and President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) Nguyen Dinh Khang visited Hue City to offer encouragement and present relief aid to trade union members and workers severely affected by the historic floods occurred in late October 2025.

On the morning of November 9, communes and wards across Hue City simultaneously launched environmental cleanup campaigns in connection with the “Green Sunday” movement, aiming to restore urban landscapes and prevent disease outbreaks following prolonged flooding. City leaders visited several locations to inspect, encourage, and present gifts to participating teams.

Immediately following the call of the City People's Committee, on the morning of November 9, a large number of residents, cadres, civil servants, public employees, various associations, unions, armed forces, Youth Union members, and Hue Urban Environment and Public Works Joint Stock Company, etc., simultaneously launched an environmental cleanup campaign across all communes and wards in the city.

The northeast monsoon winds sweep in, bringing rolling, white-capped waves surging over the Ngu Dien coast, signaling that the rough sea season has reached its height. When the sea momentarily calms, it is also the time local fishermen set out on their arduous voyages to earn a living at sea, braving countless lurking dangers behind every wave.

For Hue City, a land rich in cultural heritage, local specialties, and traditional crafts, e-commerce is opening new pathways and laying the foundation for sustainable economic growth.

“Dear everyone! Let's join hands to make Hue clean and beautiful again soon!” - I paused for a long moment in front of that message - a message sent out by HEPCO (Hue Urban Environment and Public Works Joint Stock Company) just as the floodwaters in Hue slowly, little by little, receded, revealing massive amounts of trash and damaged items submerged in the murky water.

From November 5 to 8, the group of friends from Hue Fellow Countrymen Association in Bao Loc, together with Cuong Vy Wedding Center - Bao Loc, Lam Dong, organized a trip to support people affected by the floods, those in difficult circumstances, rescue and relief forces, and schools in Hue City.

After the floods, dozens of landslide spots, traffic blockages, and deteriorating road surfaces on national highways and the Ho Chi Minh Highway are being promptly addressed by road management and maintenance units to ensure smooth traffic flow.

After the historic flooding season in late October 2025, while various areas were still deeply submerged in water, thousands of workers had to temporarily stop working, businesses in Hue City promptly stepped in to share the burden, from providing cash support, salary advances, and safe accommodations to help workers overcome difficulties and quickly stabilize production.
