On the afternoon of July 31, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong held a working session with the leaders of Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company regarding the progress of the Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly Complex Project in the Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone, and discussed plans for investment expansion.

On the afternoon of July 30, Hue City Military Command announced that it is coordinating with the Zone 1 Construction Investment Project Management Board to review procedures and clear the site to dismantle military blockhouses located on the Thuong Thanh (the Rampart Upper-surface) relic and inside Hue Imperial Citadel.

The construction of Ring Road 3 will begin in September 2025, marking a major milestone in Hue City’s urban transportation infrastructure development strategy. Far more than a conventional road project, this route is seen as a catalyst for expanding urban space, creating strategic land reserves, attracting investment, and improving quality of life for local residents.

This is considered an important legal basis to implement sub-zone planning projects, urban embellishment, and attracting strategic investment, gradually transforming the economic zone into the southern development hub of Hue City.

On July 12, Hue City Project Management Board for Transport Construction Investment announced that the City People’s Committee approved the investment project for building an overpass across Tam Giang Lagoon.

Many major projects that have completed investment procedures and begun construction in the early months of the year are expected to create new momentum to help Hue thrive.

Along with innovations in investment promotion activities, the government’s support in promoting projects acts like a “magnet” attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises to Thua Thien Hue (now known as Hue City) (*).

Most public investment projects in the locality witness the acceleration of the construction progress of necessary items before the rainy season. This is an important factor to ensure the progress of disbursement procedures in the coming time.

Hue City People's Council has agreed to add the construction project for a pedestrian and bicycle bridge over An Cuu River (a Y-shaped bridge) to the overall adjusted medium-term public investment plan for 2021-2025.

On July 19th, the Provincial Urban Development and Investment Management Board held a seminar to announce the 1/2000 scale subdivision planning project for Thanh Tien ecological urban area (EUA).
