On the morning of May 26th, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan led a field survey of the Tam Giang lagoon area, mangrove forests, and coastal infrastructure in the eastern part of the city to assess the potential for developing ecotourism and community-based tourism associated with conserving natural ecosystems and improving local livelihoods.

On the evening of May 7, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Ha Van Tuan had a meeting with investors at Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone to review the implementation progress of industrial, logistics, seaports, and service infrastructure projects in the area.

Over many years, the city’s economic and technical infrastructure system has received sustained investment and has gradually been improved. On March 23, the City People's Committee held a working session with the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency (LuxDev) to discuss technical infrastructure projects, funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and the Government of Luxembourg.

Building a digital data infrastructure to preserve history on maps is the mission that Le Quang Tue, founder and manager of the Vietnam Map Archive project, and his team members have been quietly pursuing. To date, Tue’s team has digitized over 200 ancient maps of Vietnam, including ancient maps of Hue.

After the renovation of Thuy Tien Lake Water Park (Thuy Bang Ward) and the comprehensive investment in transportation infrastructure in Thien An and Vong Canh Hill areas, by early 2025, visitors and locals alike will be amazed by the fresh and visually appealing landscape of this area.
