On the morning of August 27th, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Hue City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Council Pham Duc Tien received and held a working session with a delegation from the Organization Commission of Salavan Provincial Party Committee of Lao People’s Democratic Republic, led by Mr. Chansilone Sisomboun, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Organization Commission of Salavan Provincial Party Committee.

The 20th International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC 2026) officially opened on the morning of August 27th. Hue is taking part in the event with a joint stall shared by Quang Tri, Hue and Danang.

With a width of around 80m, the Hue Wonderverse Music Fest 2026 stage is considered the largest ever built for the festival, with capacity for over 50,000 spectators. From August 25 to 27, an intensive training program for Happy School trainers for the 2026-2027 academic year was held in Hue, bringing together a core team of education officials and teachers. On the afternoon of August 25th, Mr. Chu Minh Tuan – Coach of Hue City Jujitsu team, said that following the conclusion of the 2026 Southeast Asian Ju-Jitsu Championship and Junior Championship, Vietnam topped the overall standings with 120 gold, 113 silver and 112 bronze medals, with Hue City Ju-Jitsu team making a notable contribution.
