Spreading the Values of Happy Schools
HNN.VN - From August 25 to 27, an intensive training program for Happy School trainers for the 2026-2027 academic year was held in Hue, bringing together a core team of education officials and teachers. The program marks an important preparatory step toward integrating the spirit and values of Happy Schools into educational institutions across the city.

The training course was led by Dr. Edith Favoreu, President of the Eurasia Foundation (Switzerland), together with trainers and facilitators from the Eurasia Academy and Eurasia Foundation, with professional support from the University of Education, Hue University.
The core team took part in practical exercises in facilitation, observation, discussion, feedback, and reflection throughout the training. Rather than simply providing practical tools for organizing activities, the course placed emphasis on developing participants’ capacity to listen, foster connections, create positive learning environments, and accompany teachers and students in building Happy Schools.
The trained team will serve as a key force in promoting the model of Happy Schools and supporting its implementation across schools. This will ensure that Happy Schools are not merely a one-off activity or campaign, but are gradually embedded in the daily life, management practices, and educational activities of each school.
Earlier, the “Happy Schools in the period of 2025-2028” project, funded by the Eurasia Foundation with a total value of more than VND 2.8 billion, was approved by Hue City People’s Committee.
The project seeks to improve the quality of education in the city by enhancing the capacity of teachers and education managers in happiness education, social-emotional education, inclusive education, and school mental healthcare. It aims to gradually foster safe, positive, and happy educational environments that promote students’ holistic development and meet the requirements of the fundamental and comprehensive reform of education and training.
