Compared to many other coastal localities, Hue’s sea possesses a distinctly unique beauty, gentle and captivating in its simplicity and softness. In recent years, that beauty has become even more alluring thanks to the new coastal road and the recently completed bridge spanning the Thuan An estuary. From there, visitors coming to Hue can begin their journey from the clear blue waters of Lang Co Bay, travel along breezy coastal roads through Vinh Thanh, Thuan An, and Hai Duong, before continuing toward the peaceful seaside area of Quang Dien.

On May 23, the city People’s Committee, in collaboration with the World Wide Fund in Vietnam, held a Conference to review the “Hue – Plastic-reduced city in Central Vietnam” Project (TVA Project) for the 2021–2026 period.

On the evening of May 23, the Youth Union of Hue University held the closing ceremony of the 1st Hue Students Football Tournament for the Intrase Cup (Hue Students SV7 2026).

At a workshop themed “Hoanh Son Quan – Ngang Pass: Historical and cultural issues” organized by Ha Tinh Historical Science Association and the People’s Committee of Hoanh Son Ward on the morning of May 21, delegates agreed that experiences of conservation and value promotion from the Hai Van Quan relic site in Hue City could be applied to Hoanh Son Quan.

The launch of direct flights from Belarus to Vietnamese localities, especially Da Nang, is opening opportunities to attract Belarusian tourists to Hue along the Central Heritage Road.

On the morning of May 23rd, the University of Law, Hue University, in coordination with Da Nang Representative Office of the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam and Tilleke & Gibbins, held the opening ceremony for the 6th “Student Innovation and Intellectual Property” Competition 2026 under the theme “Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence”.

The activity was organized by Hue Central Hospital in coordination with Da Nang Charity Group for disadvantaged pediatric patients receiving treatment at the hospital on the occasion of International Children’s Day on June 1st.
