On February 9, the Department of Education and Training held a ceremony to honor and reward students who achieved outstanding results in the National Excellent Student Examination for the 2025-2026 academic year at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted.

On the evening of February 7, at Kim Long Park in front of Kim Long Communal House, Kim Long Ward People’s Committee held the opening ceremony of the program “Kim Long Tet - Where Tradition Shines” 2026. According to Hue City Department of Culture and Sports, Huyen Tran Temple Festival for the Spring of Binh Ngo 2026, themed “Honoring the Ancestors - Sacred Imprints of Territorial Expansion”, will be held on the 8th and 9th days of the first lunar month of the Year of the Horse (corresponding to February 24-25, 2026) at Huyen Tran Cultural Center (151 Thien Thai Street, An Cuu Ward, Hue City).

On January 19, according to the information released by the Department of Tourism, Hue City was named “Domestic Destination of 2025” as part of the HOTLIST Travellive Editor’s Pick - an annual prestigious program launched and organized by Travellive Media Group to honor outstanding brands, destinations, and individuals for their positive contributions to the development of Vietnam’s tourism industry.

On the afternoon of January 15, the City’s Sports Training and Competition Center held a review and commendation ceremony honoring coaches and athletes who were awarded prestigious State titles and achieved outstanding results at the 33rd SEA Games.

On the afternoon of December 23rd, the City People’s Committee held a ceremony to announce and present the titles of People’s Artisan and Meritorious Artisan, as well as the title of Hue Artisan in the field of handicrafts. The event also honored and presented Certificates of Recognition for outstanding city-level rural industrial products in 2025. ​

From a pupil who taught himself the bamboo flute, Nguyen Cong Minh, now a fourth-year student at Hue Academy of Music, won a Gold Medal for his solo flute performance of “Remembering the River” at the extended National Music Festival 2025.
