In the 2025-2026 school year, Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School continued to affirm its position as one of the city’s leading lower secondary schools in both comprehensive education and gifted education. Many classes and students achieved high results in academics, scientific research, foreign languages, sports, and extracurricular activities.
Throughout the year, the school recorded 1.389 students achieving “good” academic performance, accounting for more than 95,8% of the student body. Among them, 537 students earned the title of excellent student, 852 were recognized as good students, and 60 achieved fairly good performance.
In gifted education, the school’s students earned numerous notable achievements in domestic and international intellectual competitions. Most notably, students won 22 prizes in the national-level Internet Olympiad of English (IOE), including 5 gold medals, 5 silver medals, 4 bronze medals, and 8 consolation prizes. The school also earned 2 prizes in the 55th International UPU Letter-Writing Competition, 1 silver prize in the national Japanese short-play performance competition, along with many awards in science and technology, English debating, VioEdu, and school sports competitions.
In particular, during the entrance examination for Grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year, 214 students from the school were admitted to Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, further affirming the school’s educational quality and its work in nurturing gifted students.
Alongside improving teaching quality, Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School also places strong emphasis on life-skills education and student capacity development through various STEM, robotics, foreign language, arts, and sports clubs, while strengthening experiential activities, heritage education, and international integration.
