From early 2026, in addition to maintaining current ticket prices, Hue City will significantly expand the groups eligible for free and discounted entrance fees to heritage sites within the Hue Complex of Monuments. The move aims to facilitate access to heritage for residents and students, and to promote sustainable tourism demand.

Following severe floods, numerous relief convoys, volunteer groups, and meaningful gifts have been delivered directly to people in deeply flooded areas in Hue. On the morning of August 18, the People's Committee of Phu Loc Commune, in collaboration with Hue City Department of Health and a sponsoring unit, launched a safe swimming class for children aged 6 to 15. The class attracted 300 participating students, divided into 15 groups.
