On April 19th, a special event titled “Hue – Developing green heritage tourism and a bicycle city” will take place at Ngo Mon Square – Hue Imperial Citadel. The event is jointly organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center, VietPM (representative of GCOO brand in Vietnam), and Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC).

At the 7th Ancient Capital Literature and Arts Awards, musician Le Quang Vu (born in 1968) with his Symphony Poetry “Green City along the Perfume River” won the A prize in the music category. That being said, he is also known by the musicians in particular and music lovers in general as the “conductor” of Hue Brass Orchestra.

On the afternoon of September 4th, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, held a meeting with the leaders of Viet Personal Mobility Co., Ltd. (PM). The discussion centered on green transportation and the "Clean & Green Smart Hue City" project.

Starting a new day with a fresh and cheerful spirit will help us feel energized throughout the day. Hue, a peaceful city, with increasingly expanding public spaces, which are safe, green, clean, and beautiful. These spaces also increasingly attract residents and visitors in the city to start their new days, with open, connecting, and friendly activities.

On the morning of July 14th, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Student Association of Hue University, in collaboration with the Youth Union of Hue City and the Youth Branch of Mobifone in Thua Thien Hue, launched the Green Summer Volunteer Campaign for 2024.

In the green space of Da:me space coffee, an offline event with the theme "Ánh sáng kinh đô" (Capital City Light) for both professional and amateur photographers from Hue took place. The special guest of this event was Mr. Doan Quang, an experienced photographer of Hue origin who is currently working and living in Da Nang.

On the morning of March 22nd, Thua Thien Hue Institute for Development Studies organized a “Seminar on the Development of green & blue infrastructure in Hue City".

Alongside the significant programs and activities that have been taking place in the city to create a joyful and bustling atmosphere to welcome the Lunar New Year of Dragon, Hue City focuses on embellishing the streets to celebrate Tet (Lunar New Year), with the highlight of the 2024 Spring Festival stretching from the south bank of the Perfume River to parks and green spots in the city.

On the morning of February 4th, at Trinh Cong Son Park, the People's Committee of Hue City organized the announcement ceremony for the ASEAN Clean Tourist City Awards 2024 and launched the Green Sunday event across the entire city.

This is the topic of a media creativity contest, which is organized by Thua Thien Hue Institute for Development Studies (HueIDS) in collaboration with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), to promote and raise the awareness of green transportation in Hue City.
