On the morning of February 2, a traditional Cau Ngu (fish worshipping) festival and a ceremony to kick off the Southern fishing season in 2023 were held at Thai Duong communal house, People’s Committee of Thuan An Ward, Hue City.

A large number of locals, domestic and foreign visitors came to Thai Duong Ha Village (Hai Duong Commune, Hue City) to watch the Cau Ngu (Fish Worshipping) Festival, held by the locals on the morning of February 1 (the 11th day of the Lunar New Year).

On January 31 (the 10th of the Lunar New Year), the traditional wrestling festival of Sinh village, Phu Mau commune, Hue city attracted a large number of local people and tourists to participate and watch.

Thousands of locals and tourists from everywhere gathered on the foot of Ngu Phong Mountain, An Tay ward, Hue City to attend the Huyen Tran Temple Festival opened on the morning of the 9th day of Tet (January 30) at Huyen Tran Cultural Center.

On the afternoon of January 26 (the 5th day of the Quy Mao Tet holiday), Hue City People's Committee held the closing ceremony of the Spring Festival 2023.

On the afternoon of January 15, at Ly Tu Trong Park, Hue City People's Committee held an opening ceremony of the Spring Festival 2023.

On the afternoon of December 30, Vietnamese Community Volunteering held a press conference on the 5th “Connecting Volunteer Hearts Festival” and the ceremony “Youth Dedication to community” in 2022 in Hue city.

After the postponement due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, the People's Committee of Hue City is urgently preparing to organize the 9th Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023 at the end of April 2023.

To implement the Four Seasons Festival Project, Hue City People's Committee continues to organize the 9th Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023 with the theme "The Vietnamese Craftsmanship," as a continuation of the previous eight successful Hue Traditional Crafts Festivals since 2005.

Taking place on October 6 at 53 Nguyen Hue, Hue City, the innovation festival for Hue traditional products held by the People’s Committee of Hue City in collaboration with the Provincial Innovation Start-up Center is an activity to raise the capacity of branding and sales for Hue specialties and traditional products.
