Hue Ancient Capital is a paradise for vegetarian cuisine. On the first and fifteenth days of the lunar month, even restaurants that usually serve meat often switch entirely to vegetarian dishes. This is hardly surprising, given that Hue is one of Vietnam’s major Buddhist centers, a land steeped in spiritual traditions, where eating vegetarian food has become a beautiful cultural feature.

On July 10, Ms. Sophie Maysonnave - Counselor for Cooperation and Cultural Activities at the French Embassy in Vietnam, and Director of the French Institute in Vietnam had an official meeting with Hue Monuments Conservation Center before concluding her term of working service in Vietnam.

On May 22nd, during his working visit to Vietnam, Director of the UNESCO World Heritage Center, Lazare Eloundou Assomo, toured several heritage sites in Hue including the Imperial Citadel, the Museum of Royal Antiquities, and An Dinh Palace to conduct a field survey and learn about the management, conservation and promotion of World Cultural Heritage values ​​in the locality.

On the morning of May 11, in Hue City, Keiser University Vietnam (KUV) - Hue Center organized a cultural and educational event with the theme “Keiser Culture Day - Experience the American Vibe with KUV”.

From April 26 to May 2nd, the Imperial Citadel will become the center of a series of special cultural - artistic activities with the theme “The Imperial Citadel shines, the royal flowers converge”, promising to attract thousands of tourist arrivals during the April 30 - May 1st holidays.

On April 21st, a delegation from Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a working session with Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) to discuss the National Target Program for Cultural Development.

According to the information from the Center for Trade Investment and Promotion, and Business Support, the center is accompanying the launch of the Kinh Do Specialty Cultural and Culinary Experience Complex at the Song Centre Hue.

Flowing through the center of Hue City, the Huong River, a heritage river, is one of the iconic symbols of Hue Ancient Capital. On April 2nd, Hue Monuments Conservation Center held a working session with Ms. Sarah Hooper, the Australian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, opening up new opportunities for collaboration in heritage conservation, cultural exchange, and sustainable tourism development between Hue and Australia.

On the afternoon of February 19th, at Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC), Mr. Franck Bolgiani, Cultural Attaché and Director of the French Institute in Hanoi, visited and held discussions with the Center to strengthen cooperation in preserving and promoting Hue’s cultural heritage.
