On the morning of December 5, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company held the inauguration ceremony of its YUCHAI Engine Manufacturing and Assembly Plant (the Plant), while also rolling out the first YUCHAI engines. The event marks an important milestone in Vietnam’s strategy to master core engine manufacturing technology, as this is the first plant equipped with a modern, internationally standardized production line serving not only the automobile industry but also various other key industrial sectors.

Responding to the Call for support from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City to help the People of Hue City overcome the consequences of natural disaster, on December 4, representatives of Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company (THACO group) visited the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to present a donation of 2 billion VND.

On the morning of December 4, at Hue One Food manufacturing plant (No.1 Nguyen Van Tuyet Street, Thuan An Ward, Hue City), Hue One Food Joint Stock Company held a ceremony to release a 40-foot container, carrying about 19 tons of traditional Hue cakes, for official export to the U.S market.

On December 2nd, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan held a meeting with representatives of Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture Company (VSIP) to hear a report on several proposed investment projects in the city.

Immediately following the call of the City People's Committee, on the morning of November 9, a large number of residents, cadres, civil servants, public employees, various associations, unions, armed forces, Youth Union members, and Hue Urban Environment and Public Works Joint Stock Company, etc., simultaneously launched an environmental cleanup campaign across all communes and wards in the city.

“Dear everyone! Let's join hands to make Hue clean and beautiful again soon!” - I paused for a long moment in front of that message - a message sent out by HEPCO (Hue Urban Environment and Public Works Joint Stock Company) just as the floodwaters in Hue slowly, little by little, receded, revealing massive amounts of trash and damaged items submerged in the murky water.

On the afternoon of November 7th, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Phan Thien Dinh, together with Standing Committee Member of the City Party Committee and Chairwoman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City Nguyen Thi Ai Van, received a donation of 1 billion VND from Vietravel Tourism Joint Stock Company to support the city’s post-flood recovery efforts.

In recent days, the water plants of Hue Water Supply Joint Stock Company (HueWACO) have been supplying between 220,000 and 250,000 cubic meters to the water network, about 20% higher than on normal days.

As the floodwaters receded, mud and scattered trash are left everywhere. These days, workers from Hue Urban Environment and Public Works Joint Stock Company (HEPCO) are straining themselves amid the smell of mud, murky water, and trash to restore the city's clean appearance.

From October 29th to November 1st, Hue Water Supply Joint Stock Company (HueWACO) have deployed water tankers for 30 mobile supply trips, serving nearly 5.800 households in isolated areas, promptly providing essential domestic water for residents during and after the floods.
