The Kim Long Motor truck manufacturing plant was built on an area of 6 hectares, with a total investment of over 900 billion VND. It is equipped with modern production lines and a high level of automation.
The assembly factory is designed with a flexible model, capable of producing multiple vehicle lines on a single assembly line, meeting market demands rapidly. The entire production process complies with international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949, ensuring quality and operational sustainability.
The plant is an important piece of the Kim Long Motor automotive manufacturing ecosystem in Hue. According to the plan, the plant aims for a capacity of approximately 20,000 vehicles per year, serving both domestic and export markets.

Mr. Dao Viet Anh, General Director of Kim Long Motor Company, stated that bringing the plant into operation on schedule is a significant milestone in the development strategy for the commercial vehicle segment. The company identifies localization and mastery of core technologies as the foundation for building a sustainable automotive manufacturing ecosystem. It will also continue to expand cooperation and develop supporting industries to increase localization rates and participate more deeply in the global value chain.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the City People’s Committee, emphasized that the inauguration of the plant and the launch of new products contribute to completing the Kim Long Motor Hue Automotive Manufacturing and Assembly Center in a modern direction, enhancing its competitiveness in the region.

According to Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, once operational, the plant will not only create additional momentum for local socio-economic development, but also contribute to the process of building Vietnam’s automotive industry toward greater self-reliance. This is also a pioneering project aligned with Hue City's orientation to attract high-tech and environmentally friendly industrial projects.
The city leaders affirmed that they will continue to accompany and create favorable conditions for the company to develop effectively, thereby contributing to increasing the added value of the local industrial sector, creating more jobs and development opportunities for the people.
