On the morning of December 20, the Department of Construction coordinated with the International Finance Corporation (IFC-WB) to hold a forum to promote green building development in Hue. Attending the event was the Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh.

As a central city with a vast area and a large population, especially after the expansion of its administrative boundaries, Hue City has focused on building e-government and smart city to create favorable conditions for local people as well as to improve the state management capacity of local staff, in addition to investing in completing its infrastructure and embellishing its cityscape.

On the afternoon of November 16, Hue Central Hospital and VinBrain Joint Stock Company (from Vingroup) signed an agreement to implement more profound cooperation programs in digital transformation, building intelligent hospitals, and doing scientific research.

On November 14, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong made a field trip to inspect the implementation of the project of embellishing the banks of the Huong River in combination with the wharf located along Bui Thi Xuan Park, and the project of Hai Ba Trung pedestrian street (Hue City). Accompanying him was Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh.

Gaining access to expert resources, capital and technology within the country and abroad in order to introduce and connect with the local community and vice versa is the main goal of the forum “Meeting the Heads of National Technology Villages, Launching the National AI Technology Village in Hue, and Holding a seminar on building the Ancient Capital Startup Ecosystem” hosted by the Provincial People's Committee in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology on October 27th in Hue City.

As a locality having the largest area of centella asiatica growing in the provincial area, with around 70 hectares concentrating in Phuoc Yen and La Van Thuong communes, including 52 hectares of centella asiatica grown following the standard of VietGAP, Quang Tho has built centella asiatica as a main OCOP product. Products made of centella asiatica such as matcha centella powder, centella juice, dried centella, etc. are also the favorite choices in the market.

On the morning of September 2, the People’s Committee of Thuy Bieu Ward, Hue City organized the opening ceremony of the festival at 540 Bui Thi Xuan Street.

On August 29, Thua Thien Hue Community Tourism Association coordinated with Clickable Impact Consulting Group to hold a consultancy program called “Building up the action plan on community tourism development strategy in Thua Thien Hue”.

On the afternoon of April 4, the Thailand famtrip delegation came to Hue to visit and survey tourist attractions, proceeding to build new tours to bring guests to the Ancient Capital in the coming time.
