On the afternoon of May 8, in celebration of the 39th World Thalassemia Day (May 8, 1986 - May 8, 2025), the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center of Hue Central Hospital, in collaboration with the Blue Blouse Club, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and benefactors organized an exchange program and presented gifts to Thalassemia patients receiving treatment at the hospital.

With more than 25 years of collaboration with Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Prof. Satoh Shigeru, a leading expert in the field of landscape study and urban planning at Institute of Urban and Regional Studies, Waseda University in Japan, has made many interesting discoveries about the mountain-water landscape in Hue. On April 13, the City’s Union of Science and Technology Associations, in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Science and Technology, and Hue City Youth Union, organized the opening ceremony of the exhibition and judging for the 18th Hue City Youth and Children's Creativity Contest in 2025 (the Contest).

Over the past 20 days (starting from March 20th), Hue Monuments Conservation Center, in collaboration with National Museum of History, has completed archaeological excavations at three test pits in the Dai Cung Mon area.

On April 4th, Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School in Phong Chuong Commune, Phong Dien Town, in collaboration with the school’s Alumni Association, held a ceremony to inaugurate the monument to General Nguyen Tri Phuong.

On April 2nd, Hue Monuments Conservation Center held a working session with Ms. Sarah Hooper, the Australian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, opening up new opportunities for collaboration in heritage conservation, cultural exchange, and sustainable tourism development between Hue and Australia.
