On December 6th, the Provincial Red Cross Society, in collaboration with the Thien Tam Foundation, presented Vingroup scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year.

On November 30, the Provincial Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Hue Railway Branch and Hong Ha International Travel Company (Lao Cai), organized a welcoming program for a group of visitors from China, arriving in Hue via a charter train on a nationwide tour.

On the afternoon of November 27, the Provincial Women's Union, in collaboration with the Blue Dragon International (Blue Dragon Children's Organization), organized a conference to exchange experiences and implement support activities for children, adolescents, and women, as well as the prevention and combat against human trafficking, between Thua Thien Hue and Ha Giang provinces.

That is the topic of the 2024 LSCAC International Scientific Conference - “Language, Society, and Culture in the Asian Context”, which takes place from November 22 to 24 in Hue. This event is held by Hue College in collaboration with Malang National University (Indonesia), Hyderabad University (India), University of Mahasarakham (Thailand), the Institute of Cultural Anthropology (Hanoi), and the Northeast Institute for Cultural and Arts Research (Thailand).

On November 21st, a networking and trade connection event between Thai and Thua Thien Hue businesses was organized by the Center for Investment, Trade, and Enterprise Support in collaboration with the Provincial Business Association.

On November 21, the Central Dermatology Hospital, in collaboration with the Provincial Dermatology Hospital, opened a specialized psoriasis clinic. This is the first clinic in the province to provide examination, diagnosis and treatment for this condition.

On the morning of November 17, Kim Dong Publishing House in collaboration with Hue City Center of Culture, Information and Sports, and Club of Book and Hue Culture held a program “Hue people tell stories about Hue”, featuring an exchange with writer and journalist Phi Tan, the researcher Le Vu Truong Giang on the occasion of launching the book “Hue people tell stories about Hue” and “Students over the Tam Giang Lagoon”.

In celebration of World Diabetes Day on November 14th, the Youth Union of Hue Central Hospital, in collaboration with the Young Physicians Association of Thua Thien Hue Province, organized a program to offer free diabetes screenings for residents throughout the province.

Despite its abundant potential, river tourism in Hue remains underdeveloped, lagging behind its available natural resources. The lack of services, transport infrastructure, and collaboration in river tourism development have all posed significant barriers, preventing this sector from thriving.

On the afternoon of October 28th, Hue Tourism College, in collaboration with Cholimex Foods, held the fifth season of the “Search for Hue Culinary Ambassadors” competition, themed “Hue cuisine - Convergence of essence,” for the year 2024.
