After over 2 weeks taking place in Hanoi, the exhibition on the country’s achievements with the theme “the 80-year journey to Independence - Freedom - Happiness” has officially closed. The organizing committee honored and awarded the title of “Typical Display Space” to the display space of Hue City.

At the end of August 2025, Hue Central Hospital organized the first “Proton Therapy in Vietnam” workshop. On the morning of September 14, at the Youth Center (57 Lam Hoang Street, Hue City), the city's Red Cross Society, in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, organized a contest on “First aid skills, and communication on voluntary blood donation, tissue donation, organ donation and climate change”. This event was held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of World First Aid Day (September 13, 2000 - September 13, 2025).

The 2025 National Sports Championship for the Disabled were held from September 7 to 14 in Ho Chi Minh City. All athletes from Hue City won medals at the event.

Young Women’s Football Festival 2025 took place on the afternoon of September 13 at Tu Do Stadium. The event was co-organized by Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the Department of Culture & Sports, the Department of Education & Training, and Hue City Football Federation.

Recently, on the central streets of the city and along the Huong River, many people have noticed cyclos painted in Grab's signature green, with the brand’s logo and QR identification codes. This pilot program is being carried out under a cooperation agreement between Hue City and Grab Vietnam, with a group of cyclo drivers receiving support for vehicle repainting, uniforms, and identification accessories.

On September 12, in Hue City, the Department of International Cooperation, the Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology held a training conference on international integration and cooperation in the field of Science and Technology for officials from departments, agencies, businesses, and reporters. At the same time, they also launched an Online Competition in exploring Digital Transformation in Hue City in 2025.
