Vice Chairman Tran Huu Thuy Giang provided an overview of the city’s socio-economic development and highlighted Hue’s strengths, potential, and recent successes in cooperation with South Korean partners. He expressed the city’s expectation that the business delegation would serve as an important bridge, introducing suitable partners to explore and implement strategic cooperation projects in three key sectors: tourism, healthcare, and aviation.

In the tourism sector, Hue proposed strengthening cooperation in destination promotion, tourism marketing, and the development of multilingual communication channels. In healthcare, the city hopes that medical experts and representatives of the Sin Sang Group will collaborate on research and the development of health and wellness tourism products that combine medical examinations and treatment, resort services, and high-end cosmetic and aesthetic care. Such initiatives are expected to diversify the local tourism ecosystem.

Regarding aviation cooperation, city leaders encouraged South Korean partners, particularly representatives of Korean Air, to consider promoting direct flights or charter services from major South Korean cities to Terminal T2 of Phu Bai International Airport. Such connections are expected to provide a significant boost to tourism, trade, and investment between the two sides.

Drawing on her professional reputation and extensive network, she pledged to actively promote Hue to South Korean businesses and investors seeking cooperation opportunities, especially in the highly promising tourism and healthcare sectors.

The head of the South Korean business delegation also expressed hope that Hue City would continue to provide favorable policies and mechanisms while further improving the investment environment, enabling businesses to access opportunities and implement projects more efficiently.
