On August 17th, the Provincial Dental Hospital, in coordination with Operation Smile Vietnam, conducted screening exams for children with abnormalities. This activity is part of the annual Operation Smile surgery program held in Thua Thien Hue.

From 300 entries in the preliminary round, the organizers selected 50 works by 50 students to compete in the finals of the 2024 children's drawing competition based on books, themed: "Hue through childhood drawings."

Organizing music programs to raise funds for charity, students from Hue University have partially helped pediatric patients and underprivileged children find motivation to rise in life.

On the morning of June 7th, at Hue Children Hall, the Biodiversity Conservation component, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), in collaboration with the World Wide Fund for Nature in Vietnam (WWF-Vietnam), Helvetas, and the Forest Protection Department, organized the opening ceremony of the “For the sustainable life of nature and people” exhibition. On the evening of May 31, Hue City's Youth Union coordinated with Hue Children's House to organize the opening ceremony of summer activities and the launching ceremony of the Month of action for children, as well as awarding prizes for a writing contest themed “Pens of the young ages”, and an English video clip contest themed “I am a tour guide” in 2024.

On the occasion of the 1st anniversary of its establishment, on the afternoon of May 30, Cecile Le Pham Art Museum (53 Ham Nghi Street, Hue City) organized a drawing competition for children, with the theme “The beauty of Hue ancient capital’s heritage through the eyes of childhood”. This activity is in response to International Children's Day on June 1.

Loving the gentle but profound accent of people in the ancient capital, a group of students from Hue University International School carry out an audiobook project read entirely in Hue accent. “Voice of Ancient Capital” is the gift that these young people want to present to local blind children as well as those all over the country.

Compared to their peers living in Hue City and the lowlands, children in the mountainous and remote Nam Dong and A Luoi districts are at a significant disadvantage in terms of access to information technology, books, and age-appropriate publications. However, thanks to the efforts of the education sector, local authorities, and schools, the reading spaces for children in these places are increasingly being supplemented with a variety of books and periodicals, helping them have more "good friends" during their breaks or extracurricular activities.

On January 21, the Youth Union of the Provincial Center for Disease Control organized a volunteer activity themed "Warm Spring 2024" for children at six children protection centers in the area of Hue City.

The information was provided by Hue Central Hospital on September 1. This is the 35th transplant case to be discharged from the hospital and singnifies the anniversary of 35th successful autologous stem cell transplants in children.
