108 scholarships awarded to students with disabilities, to agent orange victims and underprivileged children

HNN.VN - On the morning of September 25th, the Center for Social Work and the Child Protection Fund (CSW-CPF), in collaboration with the Vietnam Child Protection Fund and the Hope Foundation, organized a scholarship award program for students with disabilities, agent orange victims from various districts, towns, and Hue City, as well as children of fishermen facing difficult circumstances in Quang Dien and Phu Loc districts.

At the scholarship award ceremony, the Vietnam Child Protection Fund and the Hope Foundation of FPT Corporation granted 100 scholarships to students with disabilities and agent orange victims facing challenging circumstances across the province. The value of each scholarship was 1.2 million VND. Additionally, as part of the “Casting Nets of Dreams” project, Acecook Corporation, through the Vietnam Child Protection Fund, provided 8 scholarships to children of fishermen facing hardships in Quang Dien and Phu Loc districts. Each of these scholarships was valued at 6 million VND.

On this occasion, the CSW-CPF also organized scholarship distribution at their office for children from Phong Dien, Quang Dien, Phu Vang, Huong Tra, Huong Thuy, and Hue City. For Nam Dong, Phu Loc, and A Luoi district, the center transferred the funds and coordinated with the local Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs departments to organize the distribution, ensuring convenience for the recipients.
