On the morning of March 16, the 2025 National Swimming – Diving Championship for the 25m pool officially kicked off at the pool of the Hue City Sports Center (No. 2 Le Quy Don St.), attracting the participation of a great number of athletes and audiences all over the country.

On December 24, Korean Institute of Traditional Culture Research and ORIHERI announced that Nguyen Ngoc Phon, a 23-year-old representative from Hue (of Doan Trang Embroidery and Sewing Service & Trade Co., Ltd.), surpassed more than 2,000 contestants worldwide to secure third prize at the World Grand Prix Supreme Model Contest and Seoul Beauty Fashion Festival 2024 (World Champion Model and Beauty Fashion Festival in Seoul - Korea 2024).

With an excellent performance in the final match of the Road to Olympia, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a 12th grade student of Specialized Math Class No. 1 at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, brought the laurel wreath back to his hometown, becoming the third one of the school to become the champion after Ho Ngoc Han (in 2009) and Ho Dac Thanh Chuong (in 2016). After winning the 2024 Road to Olympia Championship, on the afternoon of October 14, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a 12th grade student majoring in Math, class 1 at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, returned to school in a warm welcome from teachers, friends and family.

In the final round of the 24th “Road to Mount Olympia” (with Vietnamese title being “Duong len dinh Olympia”), which was live broadcast on the morning of October 13, Vo Quang Phu Duc, a representative of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, excellently won the laurel wreath.

After 12 years of studying, researching, and working abroad, in 2022, Dr. Ho Ngoc Han, the champion of “Đường lên đỉnh Olympia 2009” (Road to Olympia), chose to return to Huế to serve his homeland.

On the afternoon of August 15, the Enterprise Development Foundation - Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), and the Provincial Business Association, in collaboration with Vietnam Anti-Counterfeiting Technology Joint Stock Company (ACTIV), organized a workshop on “Traceability: Intellectual property protection for enterprises and key products of Thua Thien Hue Province”.
