Hue women's wrestling reasserts dominance at National Championship

A ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27th, 1946 – March 27th, 2026), organized by the Department of Culture and Sports, was held on the afternoon of March 27 at the City Culture and Cinema Center. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, attended and extended congratulations and encouragement.

Amid the rhythm of modern life, as fashion becomes increasingly diverse and is constantly changing, the traditional ao-dai continues to remain a lasting presence in the lives of women in the former imperial capital. In Hue, the graceful image of women’s association members wearing Ao-dai is not only a symbol of beauty but also a way of preserving and spreading the traditional cultural values of their homeland.

On March 7, the City’s Women’s Union organized the “Brilliant March” Festival, featuring a series of meaningful activities, including a mass dance performance, the “Golden Bell Challenge” contest on the Law on Elections of the National Assembly and People’s Councils and Party Congress resolutions at all levels, the “Colors of Traditional Craft Villages” exhibition, along with various engaging communication activities…

On the morning of the 6th day of the first lunar month (February 22), Thu Le Village wrestling arena (Quang Dien Commune) officially opened, attracting a large crowd of locals and visitors from neighboring provinces and cities.

By taking the time to examine wrestling and Quang Dien’s approaches, many highly practical lessons can be distilled, providing more solutions to help Hue’s sports advance further and soar higher.
