Hue University wins Men’s National Student Football Championship 2025 - TV360 Cup

The final match took place on the afternoon of November 29th in Hanoi.

Considered evenly matched, both teams entered the game with lively but cautious play. While Hanoi University of Physical Education and Sports team was known for its attractive attacking style, Hue University relied on disciplined and solid defensive play.

In the first half, the team from Hue ancient capital created several impressive counterattacks but could not convert them into goals. From a pass in the early second half that broke through the entire opposing defense, player Duy Tan sprinted forward and finished successfully, giving Hue University the lead.

Facing the pressure of being behind, Hanoi University of Physical Education and Sports players changed tactics and pushed their formation higher to attack. In the 63rd minute, from a corner kick, player Duc Duong headed the ball into a difficult corner to equalize 1-1.

The match continued with intense back-and-forth plays from both teams, but no further goals were scored, forcing the game into a dramatic penalty shootout. After the first five rounds, the teams were tied 2-2 and had to proceed to sudden-death penalties, where Hue University claimed victory with a score of 8-7.

In addition to winning the championship, Hue University also received several individual awards, including Best Goalkeeper for Hoang Xuan Khanh, Best Player of the tournament for Ho Duy Tan, and Best Coach awarded to Trinh Xuan Hong.
