Hue Central Hospital has just coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, the Breast Cancer Network Vietnam, the branch of Yakult Vietnam Co., Ltd., and other sponsors to organize the “Hair donation - Spreading love” program for female cancer patients currently undergoing treatment at the Oncology Center - Hue Central Hospital.

On October 18, Hue Central Hospital organized a specialized workshop titled “Off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB) surgery”. The event aimed to exchange, update professional knowledge, and share practical experience regarding the technique of coronary artery bypass surgery on a beating heart - a modern method that helps reduce complications and shorten the recovery time for patients.

After many years of sustaining their lives through regular blood transfusions, many pediatric patients suffering from congenital hemolytic anemia (Thalassemia) have now found the “light at the end of the tunnel” thanks to hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at Hue Central Hospital. From these successful transplant cases, a door of hope has opened, bringing the children a healthy, normal life and complete joy after so many difficult days.

On October 11 and 12, the Cardiovascular Center - Hue Central Hospital organized a specialized workshop titled “Optimizing RF energy ablation in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias”. The event was part of a series of continuous medical education (CME) activities, aimed at enhancing professional capacity and standardizing cardiac electrophysiology skills for doctors both inside and outside the hospital.

On the afternoon of October 12th, at the Sports and Cultural Center Stadium of Phu Xuan Ward (Hue City), the Ministry of Education and Training, in coordination with Vietnam University and Professional Sports Association and Hue University and Professional Sports Association, held the opening ceremony of the 2025 National Men Student Football Tournament - TV360 Cup, Central Region.

The stretches of forest in A Luoi not only shelter the villages, but also have now become the livelihood foundation for locals. On the morning of October 11, Hue Central Hospital organized the expanded Women's Scientific Conference of Hue Central Hospital in 2025 with the theme “Intellectual women in the era of technology and digital transformation in medicine”. This event aims to honor the role and contributions of intellectual women in medical sector, while also serving as a scientific forum to update advancements and share experiences in applying modern treatment methods and developing advanced medical techniques.

On October 8 and 9, a working delegation from Hue Central Hospital organized an activity to provide free medical check-ups, health consultations, and medication to over 600 disadvantaged residents in Cam Binh Commune (Ha Tinh) - an area recently affected by Storm No. 10.

In the early days of the re-establishment of the province, Hue faced countless difficulties. Over 35 years, Hue City has made remarkable and proud progress.

On the morning of October 2nd, at Hue Central Hospital, H.T.N. (45 years old, Thuy Xuan, Hue City) was officially discharged in stable health after nearly three weeks recovering from a remarkable cross-Vietnam heart transplant. This was the 20th successful heart transplant carried out at Hue Central Hospital, marking another important milestone in Vietnam’s field of cardiac surgery and organ transplantation.
