On September 29, Hue Central Hospital organized the 21st Vietnam - Australia Hand Surgery Training Course, bringing together hand, wrist, and rehabilitation surgery specialists from Australia.

On the morning of September 25th, Mr. Le Tri Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, chaired a meeting with Sun Group, led by Mr. Nguyen Van Binh, Chairman of Sun Group’s Central Vietnam region. Also in attendance were representatives of relevant departments, agencies and local authorities.

On the morning of September 17th, Hue Central Hospital (HCH) and Vietnam Association of Surgery and Laparoscopic Surgery jointly organized the 2026 National Scientific Conference on Surgery and Laparoscopic Surgery (VASEL 2026), themed ‘Technological Innovation - Integrating AI to Advance Laparoscopic Surgery’.

On the afternoon of September 5, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Head of the City’s National Assembly Delegation, received H.E. ITO Naoki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Vietnam, during his visit and working trip to Hue City.

On the morning of August 25, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society held a conference in Hue to review the implementation process and share the outcomes of the project ‘Supporting the Recovery and Reconstruction of Schools Affected by Floods in 2025 in Hue and Danang’.

The exhibition, through the language of photography, aims to strengthen Hue City's cultural diplomacy and expand cooperation with diplomatic missions of ASEAN countries in Vietnam. It will also help promote Hue as a heritage city and a distinctive Festival City of Vietnam, as well as an attractive cultural and tourism destination in the Central region. ​

On the morning of August 17, in Khe Tre Commune, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly, the Thien Tam Fund (Vingroup), and the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, in coordination with Saigon Eye Hospital - Song Han, held a humanitarian eye-screening program for ethnic minority people in the two mountainous communes of Khe Tre and Long Quang.

On August 7, Hue Central Hospital coordinated with Yonsei Wonju Health System, Gangwon Technopark, Kangwon National University Hospital, along with various South Korean healthcare technology experts, to hold a seminar on ‘Digital Healthcare - Applying Vietnam - South Korea Artificial Intelligence’.

On the afternoon of July 29th, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, and Head of the City's National Assembly Delegation, received and held talks with a delegation led by Mr. He Wei, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Vietnam, during the Ambassador's official visit to Hue City.

On July 20, Hue Central Hospital hosted the 7th Imperial City Eye Meeting 2026 (ICEM 2026) under the theme “From Fundamentals to Challenges in Surgery.” Taking place from July 20 - 22, the event brings together over 200 ophthalmologists, researchers, and healthcare professionals from Vietnam and abroad to discuss the latest advances in ophthalmology, strengthen international collaboration, and enhance the quality of eye care services for the public.
