In the current trend of digital transformation, the healthcare sector of Hue City is leading the way in building a smart hospital model, modernizing medical examination and treatment system, improving service quality, and enhancing patient satisfaction.

On September 23rd, a workshop on sharing experiences in implementing the Happy School Project was held in Hue City, jointly organized by the City’s Department of Education and Training, the University of Education - Hue University, and Eurasia Foundation.

On the afternoon of September 20th, the University of Sciences (Hue University) held a ceremony to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of its Faculty of Architecture (1995 - 2025).

On September 16th, Hue City Transportation Construction Investment Project Management Board reported that it had submitted a proposal to Hue City People’s Committee for approval of the investment policy for building the new Vinh Tu bridge across Tam Giang lagoon, connecting Quang Dien commune with Phong Quang ward. The project’s total investment is estimated at over 1.500 billion VND.

At the end of August 2025, Hue Central Hospital organized the first “Proton Therapy in Vietnam” workshop. This event is considered an important step toward realizing the plan to build three proton therapy centers at three institutions: K Hospital (Hanoi), Hue Central Hospital, and Cho Ray Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City).

That very room is also where Distinguished Artisan Nguyen Dang Hoang - known by the stage name “Hoang Dieu” (Hoang Kite), has, for many years, both crafted his famous kites and welcomed visitors eager to visit, learn, and experience kite-making.

Hue City has recently become the starting point for a campaign to strengthen the implementation of a smoke-free environment in restaurants, hotels, and public attractions. This is expected to be an important step to elevate the image of a green, clean, and civilized city in the eyes of both locals and tourists.

On the afternoon of September 10, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in collaboration with Hue City People's Committee, organized the opening ceremony of the 3rd Vietnam International Photography Festival in 2025. This biennial international event aims to build a brand name for Vietnamese photography, while contributing to promoting the image of the country, people, and culture of Vietnam to international friends.
