According to information from the Provincial Forest Protection Department, on September 25, the forest ranger units have received three individuals of rare and precious wild animals, which were voluntarily handed over by residents via hotlines.

At the 2024 International Dance Festival, Vietnamese art troupes have achieved outstanding success through performance programs and independent dance works. More than 500 artists and performers from 17 art units representing 9 countries gathered at the International Dance Festival 2024, which opened on the evening of August 17 at the Thua Thien Hue Cultural and Cinematic Center (41A Hung Vuong, Hue City).

On August 9th, the provincial Dental Hospital announced that the unit is collaborating with Operation Smile Vietnam to carry out a smile surgery program for children with cleft lip and cleft palate.

On the afternoon of July 27th, the Provincial Farmers' Union, in coordination with the People's Committee of Hue City, organized the opening of the first Highland Market Fair in Hue City in 2024.

On June 18, a free reading station was launched on the train connecting heritages between Hue and Da Nang, featuring around 150 books set up by the Provincial Development Research Institute in collaboration with other units and projects.

On the morning of June 7th, at Hue Children Hall, the Biodiversity Conservation component, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), in collaboration with the World Wide Fund for Nature in Vietnam (WWF-Vietnam), Helvetas, and the Forest Protection Department, organized the opening ceremony of the “For the sustainable life of nature and people” exhibition. This event is part of the “Sustainable Forest management and Biodiversity conservation” (VFBC) project.

On the evening of April 29th, at Thuan An beach, Thuan An ward, the People's Committee of Hue City organized the opening ceremony of “Thuan An – Call of the sea” festival 2024. The event was attended by Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Member of the Standing Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the City People's Council; city leaders; departments, agencies, units, enterprises; as well as domestic and international tourists.
