On the morning of April 15, in Hanoi, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Vietnam in collaboration with the Center for Community Support and Development Studies (CECODES) organized a conference to announce the Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI) for 2024.

After concluding Stage 9 of Truong Tien - Phu Xuan, the 37th National Cycling Tournament for Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup, themed “United Homeland”, kicked off Stage 10 on the morning of April 13th, starting from Hue City to Da Nang City. To provide the activities of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 to tourists, the tourism industry of the Imperial Ancient Capital, along with other units and businesses, has developed a plan to promote and introduce the events in a focus way, reaching both domestic and international markets.

On November 30, 2024, the National Assembly passed the Resolution to establish Hue City under the Central Government from January 1, 2025, and the Resolution on the restructuring of district and commune-level administrative units of Hue City, in the 2023 - 2025 period. Hue City (under Thua Thien Hue Province) will be divided into two districts: Phu Xuan and Thuan Hoa.
