Nestled on Thien An Hill (Thuy Bang Ward, Thuan Hoa District), Thuy Tien Lake Park was once infamous among backpackers for its abandoned, eerie, and ghostly appearance after years of neglect. For a period, it became an unsafe stop for adventurous travellers seeking unconventional experiences in unfamiliar lands.

Paintings about Uncle Ho always create deep emotions in viewers’ hearts. And, the artworks displayed at the beginning of the Year of the Snake at Ho Chi Minh Museum of Hue City, located at 7 Le Loi street, Thuan Hoa District, have left such impressions on those who came to appreciate them.

This was the topic of the second Empathic communication workshop, which featured meaningful and inspiring sharing from Minh Bon, the speaker, Director of Sao Mai Education System, Coach of the Happy Teacher Foundation, and Reporter at the Institute of Applied Psychology - Education. The workshop was organized by Hue Book and Culture Club on February 16 at the Hue Book and Culture Space (at 23 - 25 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa District, Hue City).

A great number of tourists and locals flocked into the Huyen Tran Temple Festival held on At Ty new year’s days. This was an event held by the Department of Culture and Sports, opening on the morning of the lunar January 9th (February 6) at Huyen Tran Cultural Center, located at the foot of Ngu Phong Mountain (An Tay Ward, Thuan Hoa District).

As scheduled, on the morning of February 7, thousands of locals and visitors flocked to the communal house area of Lai An village (also known as Sinh village), Duong No Ward (Thuan Hoa District) to watch the wrestling festival. The Sinh village wrestling festival is a traditional festival with a rich martial spirit, and over 400 years old in the Ancient Capital land.

On the afternoon of February 2, the People's Committee of Thuan Hoa District organized the closing ceremony of the At Ty (the Year of the Snake) Spring Festival 2025. Attendees included leaders from Phu Xuan and Thuan Hoa districts, as well as artisans participating in the Spring Festival.

An exhibition commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) and welcoming the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025 was organized by Hue City History Museum. The exhibition opened on January 22 at 268 Dien Bien Phu Street, Truong An Ward, Thuan Hoa District.

On the afternoon of January 18, at the space of 23-25 Le Loi St., Thuan Hoa Ward, 40 children and their parents had a chance to join in an activity of experiencing cooking tet cakes to celebrate Tet holiday. This program was held by the Hue Book and Culture Club.

To celebrate the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3rd, 1930 - February 3rd, 2025) and create the joyful and exciting atmosphere to honor the glorious Party and welcome the Lunar New Year of the Snake, Thuan Hoa District will organize various activities to celebrate the Party and the Spring. These activities aim to meet the recreational needs of locals and tourists.

On the afternoon of January 8th, at Phu Mau Primary School, Thuan Hoa District, Hue City, the "Health Day Festival" (HDF) was organized by University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University.
