Collaboration plays a crucial role in promoting tourism development. In 2024, as the leader of the tourism development partnership among five localities in Central Vietnam, Thua Thien Hue province will propose and implement various solutions to enhance the effectiveness of collaboration, promote tourism, and contribute to the development of the smoke-free industry.

Economic and industrial zones in the province are key areas for attracting investment. However, in order to capture the attention of significant investors, it is necessary to create an open environment with many solutions to support businesses. Regarding this issue, Thua Thien Hue Weekly had an exchange with Mr. Le Van Tue, Head of the Provincial Economic and Industrial Zones Management Board.

130 rare Sino-Vietnamese Demotic documents, including conferring ordinance, recognitions, diplomas, and other documents, which have been digitized and reconstructed, have just been exhibited and showcased to the public by Thua Thien Hue General Library on the morning of December 15 at the library space (29A Le Quy Don street, Hue City).

Le Ngoc Thuy, a math teacher at Huong Vinh High School, braved danger to save 3 people swept away by floodwaters. These people were capsized in a boat incident that also drowned a mother and child. As the Department of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced, on November 18th, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Dinh Toan Thang, Vietnamese Ambassador to France, Ms. Le Thi Hong Van, Head of the Permanent Delegation of Vietnam to United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Ms. Le Thi Thu Hien, Director General of the Department of Cultural Heritage, together with representatives from Ministry of Public Security (Vietnam), the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, and UNESCO, witnessed the transfer ceremony of the ‘Emperor’s Treasure’ golden seal to Vietnam on the afternoon of November 16th at the Vietnamese Embassy in France.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Vietnam - France diplomatic relations, Jean-Charles Sarrazin, an artist, conducted an instructive discussion on illustration and hands-on drawing session for students of Thuan Hoa High School at the French Institute in Hue, located at No.1 Le Hong Phong Street (Hue City).

“Thua Thien Hue needs a survey about all the Phu De currently left in the province in terms of their locations, values, ages, architecture, conditions, etc. The survey will become a database for researching”. (Phu are princes’ residences and De are princesses’ residences in the past).
