Effective communication with children
TTH.VN - This was the topic of the second Empathic communication workshop, which featured meaningful and inspiring sharing from Minh Bon, the speaker, Director of Sao Mai Education System, Coach of the Happy Teacher Foundation, and Reporter at the Institute of Applied Psychology - Education. The workshop was organized by Hue Book and Culture Club on February 16 at the Hue Book and Culture Space (at 23 - 25 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa District, Hue City).

Participants in the program included parents working in various fields, and young people wishing to experience and learn how to communicate with their children and nieces/ nephews in the most effective way.
“When parents are holding something against their children, they will not be calm enough and ready to communicate with them. Adults sometimes inadvertently do not understand children's psychology correctly, how to make children understand ... and we just push children away from us. When a relationship has no communication or imposed (one-way) communication, it is certainly coming to an end. How to make the journey with children complete and peaceful, that is the desire I want to share at this workshop,” said Minh Bon.

At the Effective communication with children workshop, Minh Bon provided practical knowledge and skills to build a sustainable relationship between parents and children, support children's natural and proper development; solve problems of behavior that cause false beliefs for children; experience understanding children; effective communication steps with children, as well as empathic communication; etc.
“The program is really great and useful. I have learned a lot and realized the mistakes in teaching my children for a long time. I hope that the program will spread to more parents,” said a father, who participated in the program. This is also the shared feeling of parents participating in this meaningful program.
