On June 2nd, the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City announced that the 2025 Community Ao Dai Week will take place from June 6th to 15th, kicked off with a special art program titled “Hue Ao dai” at An Dinh Palace on the evening of June 6th.

Nearly 2,000 students from provinces and cities across the country will gather in Hue City to participate in 2025 National Sports Games for General Education Students, taking place from June 8 to 16.

After a week of activities, the 3rd Vietnam International Photography Festival, Hue - 2025, organized by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City, closed on the afternoon of May 28.

The Suzucho Karate-Do International Clubs Championship 2025 was held from May 23 to 24 at Arena No. 1 on Ha Huy Tap Street, Hue City. This first-ever tournament was co-hosted by the Suzucho Karate-Do School of Vietnam and Hue City's Department of Culture and Sports.

A professional training course for swimming and diving lifeguards in 2025, organized by the Department of Culture and Sports, is taking place from May 15 to 19 at the city's Sports Center (the swimming pool at 2 Le Quy Don Street). A large number of trainees from the sports and education sectors, as well as water sports businesses in the city, are participating.

The Department of Culture and Sports, in collaboration with a team of experts from the National Museum of History, has commenced the second phase of archaeological surveying and excavation at Lieu Coc Twin Towers site.

From May 4 to 13, Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) is coordinating with the People's Committee of Hue City, Tourism Development Support Fund, Vietnam Airlines, and partners to organize a program introducing Vietnamese tourism, traditional craft villages, and cuisine, and connecting businesses on the occasion of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 in three European countries, including Italy, Switzerland, and France.

On the afternoon of April 25, the Culture, Information and Sports Center of Thuan Hoa District, in collaboration with Hue City branch of Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, organized the opening ceremony of a photo exhibition themed “Hue - A city bursting out with vitality”.

Although not classified as a key sport, Jujitsu is steadily proving its potential with a series of notable achievements in both national and international arenas. These results have provided a solid foundation for the sport to aim for a coveted slot at the 33rd SEA Games later this year.

On April 21st, a delegation from Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a working session with Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) to discuss the National Target Program for Cultural Development.
