Nearly 1,000 athletes participate in the 6th Hue University Sports Festival

Taking place over 9 days, from April 11 to 19, Hue University Sports Festival 2026 featured 5 competitive categories, including: athletics, cross-country running, team running, pickleball, and tug of war. The event attracted nearly 1,000 athletes from 12 delegations representing member universities and affiliated faculties of Hue University.
During the opening remarks, Mr. Bui Van Loi, Deputy Director in charge of Hue University, and Head of the Organizing Committee of the 6th Hue University Sports Festival 2026, stated: “Each sport has its own unique characteristics, but all share the common goal of building a widespread, practical, and sustainable sports movement throughout Hue University.”
The Sports Festival serves as an opportunity for units and athletes across Hue University to interact, learn from one another, and improve their performance, thereby contributing to the development of sports within their respective units. Furthermore, it aims to select the top-performing athletes to form Hue University’s team for the 10th Hue City Sports Festival 2026.
