On the evening of September 8th, the Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Vietnam Travel Magazine and other partners, organized the “Experiencing Traditional Hue Mid-Autumn Festival”program. This event is part of a series of activities taking place in the four seasons of Hue Festival 2024, aiming at responding to the autumn festival - “Hue in Autumn” of the Hue Festival 2024.

During the first two days of the National Day holiday (September 2nd), Hue Ancient Capital welcomed thousands of tourist arrivals. Currently, tourist destinations in Thua Thien Hue, especially the relics belonging to the Complex of Hue Monuments, continue to be bustling with visitors.

In the joyful atmosphere, celebrating the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the Department of Culture and Sports organized the 35th Traditional Boat Racing Competition of Thua Thien Hue province on the morning of September 2, with the participation of 9 units from wards and communes of 9 districts, towns and Hue City.

From the early morning of September 2, the Imperial Citadel in Hue continuously welcomed thousands of domestic and international tourists to visit.

On the morning of September 1st, the 5th edition of “Hue Jogging – Running for the community” event of 2024, with the theme “Hue Always New,” took place at the Square of the Provincial Administrative Urban Area in Xuan Phu Ward, Hue City.

On the afternoon of August 27, the Tourism Department informed about the provincial tourism situation for the upcoming National Day on September 2nd.

The 4-day National Day holiday on September 2 this year is also an occasion for many people to choose to travel. Unlike previous years, during this year's holiday, tourists tend to prefer short trips and book accommodation close to the time of travel.

Moving beyond charter flights, Thua Thien Hue is establishing a regular flight route with Taiwan (China) to Phu Bai International Airport, expected to start in early September 2024.

Aeon Mall Hue Project - the 7th commercial center of the Aeon Mall Group in Vietnam and the largest comprehensive service commercial center in the Central region, scheduled to be completed and put into operation from September 2024, is expected to bring positive impacts, contributing to the socio-economic development of Thua Thien Hue province.
