On the morning of July 26th, in commemoration of the 78th Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27th, 1947 - July 27th, 2025), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh offered incense in remembrance of General Nguyen Chi Thanh at the General Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum (144 Dang Thai Than Street, Phu Xuan Ward).

On the afternoon of July 24th, Mr. Le Ba Minh Hai - Chairman of the People’s Committee of Phu Bai Ward, presented a certificate of commendation to Mr. Tran Van Phi (born in 1999, residing in An Ha Hamlet, My Thuong Ward, Hue City) for his courageous act of rescuing a drowning child.

The above activity was recently organized by the Hue City Center for Disease Control (Hue CDC) with the aim of early detection of hypertension, preventing complications, and managing treatment for commune-level healthcare workers and collaborators in the communes of Vinh Loc, Huong Loc, Phu Vang, and Phu Vinh.

Giving up a stable job in Da Nang City, Tran Huu Tri (born in 1995), from Ka Tu village, Huong Phu commune, Phuc Loc district (now part of Khe Tre commune), decided to return to his hometown to start a business with a farmstay model that combines organic farming and experiential tourism.

On the afternoon of July 21, at the headquarters of Hue City People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee had a courtesy meeting with H.E. Nicolai Prytz, Ambassador of Denmark to Vietnam and his delegation.

The 7-a-side Hue Premier League - Huda Cup 2025 (TPL-S5) kicked off on the afternoon of July 19 at Uyen Phuong Stadium (Tay Loc - Phu Xuan Ward). Noticeable was the opening of the oil painting exhibition by Hoang Nhu Thuy An at Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center. Hoang Nhu Thuy An is Hoang Nhu Bua’s pseudonym, born in 1948, originally from Cau Hai (Cao Do) in Phu Loc, Hue, but currently living in Da Lat. The special thing is that all those paintings were painted after his stroke culminating in hemiplegia. He has learnt to paint with his left hand since then.

On the morning of July 9th, Vietnam Airlines, in collaboration with Hue City People's Committee and Phu Bai International Airport, held a special ceremony to welcome a milestone flight in celebration of the 65th anniversary of Vietnam's tourism sector. The event also aims to respond to the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 and honored the airline’s 350 millionth passenger.

The contributions and legacy of Diem Phung Thi - a sculptor, have left a profound impact on the global sculpting scene. Hue is fortunate that she chose to return and spend the rest of her life here, ultimately donating her artistic legacy to the city. Since then, many artists have come to visit, drawing inspiration and creating their own works as if they engaged in a boundless “conversation”.
