With the spirit of welcoming the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, symbolizing the opening of intellect and fortune, the event was organized by DDC Education, Viet Heritage Education, the Viet Trung Hue Foreign Language Center, the ISEE English Club, and the Diplomatic Protocol Club. It was accompanied by the International School - Hue University, Keiser University Hue, and the Ancient Capital of Hue Model United Nations - ACHMUN.
The highlight of the program was a sharing session by Mr. Tran Sy Chuong, an economist and an alumnus of the University of California, the London School of Economics and Political Science, and the Johns Hopkins University.
He delivered an message: “If you are proud of Hue, do not let Hue remain poor. Besides preserving heritage and culture, Hue also possesses mountains, rivers, the Tam Giang Lagoon, and the sea... young people need to find ways to create real value for their homeland rather than simply leaving Hue”.

The second part of the program focused on snapshots of the journey from Hue to the world. Speakers including Hoang The Huan (National University of Singapore), Phan Phuoc Thuc Nguyen (London School of Economics and Political Science), Tran Thu Nhi (Stanford University), Tran Duy Phuong Nhi (University of Sydney), Bui Hong Thien An (University of Chicago), and Tran Hoang Nguyen (University of Hong Kong) shared their experiences on studying, hunting scholarships, building profiles, and developing an international integration mindset.
“Spring Awakening of Dreams” was not only a New Year gathering, but also a space for sincere dialogue, where Hue people told their authentic stories to inspire the next generation that if they could do it, so could the younger generation.
