With the motto “Sow an action, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character,” the “Green Sunday” movement has been brought to life by the youth of Hue City through practical, community-oriented models and activities, aiming to engage and unite people from all walks of life.

“The beaches in Hue are well-known as some of the most interesting destinations that you shouldn’t miss when visiting the ancient capital. Their beauty can be summed up in three words: “fascinating the soul”.

On June 25, Vice Chairmen of Hue City People’s Committee, including Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, and Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, conducted field inspections and working sessions with local authorities regarding preparations and operation of the two-level local government model. Leaders from relevant departments and sectors also attended the working sessions.

On June 23, the People’s Committee of Hue City announced that the Vietnam Urban Planning and Development Association (VUPDA) had just held the award ceremony for the 4th National Urban Planning Awards.

On the morning of June 23, the Action to Community Development Center (ACDC Institute) in collaboration with the City Department of Health and the Association for Persons with Disabilities - the City Association for the Protection of the Disabled and Orphans, co-organized the 2025 event titled “Run with People with Disabilities: No Distance - No Limits” at Thuan An Beach (Thuan An Ward, Thuan Hoa District).

To many people, Nguyen Dac Xuan is renowned as a researcher from Hue. However, few know that the most vibrant years of this researcher’s life were spent pursuing journalism.

On the afternoon of June 19, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Standing Member of Hue Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, held a working session with the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) to discuss cooperation on investment promotion and expanding air connectivity, contributing to effectively operate Terminal T2 of Phu Bai International Airport.

In addition to his field assignments, Van Thang, a journalist, (from Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper, stationed in Hue City and Quang Tri Province) is also known for his philanthropic work that have helped many people in difficult circumstances.

Due to the impact of Typhoon No. 1, heavy rainfall occurred in Hue City, causing significant damage to people and property. Currently, units and localities in low-lying areas have mobilized maximum resources and machinery to overcome the aftermath of the floods.
