On the afternoon of June 3, at the Truong Lang Corridor of the Forbidden City, Hue Imperial City, Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with Hue University of Arts organized the opening ceremony of an exhibition on arts and heritage, with the theme “Artistic inspiration from royal patterns”. The exhibition is part of a series of activities in response to the highlight week of Hue Festival 2024.

On the evening of May 31, Hue City's Youth Union coordinated with Hue Children's House to organize the opening ceremony of summer activities and the launching ceremony of the Month of action for children, as well as awarding prizes for a writing contest themed “Pens of the young ages”, and an English video clip contest themed “I am a tour guide” in 2024.

On the evening of May 20, the Provincial Executive Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and the Vesak 2568 Organization Board held the opening ceremony of flower boat parade. After the opening ceremony, the flower boats will parade on the Huong River. This is one of the important activities within the framework of the Vesak Week 2568.

On the afternoon of May 15th, at Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center, the Executive Board of provincial Buddhist Sangha and the Organizing Board of the Vesak Day Celebration of Buddhist Calendar 2568 held the opening ceremony of the Buddhist cultural exhibition themed “Fragrance of the Lotus”. This significant event is part of the series of activities for the Vesak Week of Buddhist Calendar 2568 in 2024.

On the evening of April 29th, at Thuan An beach, Thuan An ward, the People's Committee of Hue City organized the opening ceremony of “Thuan An – Call of the sea” festival 2024. The event was attended by Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Member of the Standing Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the City People's Council; city leaders; departments, agencies, units, enterprises; as well as domestic and international tourists.

On the evening of April 27, at Thuong Bac Park, Dong Ba Ward, the People's Committee of Hue City in collaboration with Phu Dat Gia Co., Ltd. organized the opening ceremony of the Hue Traditional Food Week 2024.

On the morning of March 23, at Trinh Cong Son Park, Hue City People's Committee held the opening ceremony of the 3rd Hue City Traditional Boat Racing Competition, aiming to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the 78th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnamese Sports sector, and the 49th anniversary of Thua Thien Hue's liberation day. This is also one of the activities responding to Hue Festival 2024.

On the morning of March 21, at the Provincial Sports Center, the Provincial People's Committee held the opening ceremony of the Provincial Phu Dong Health Festival 2024.

On the afternoon of February 3, at the Square in front of Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, Hue City People's Committee held the opening ceremony of the Giap Thin Spring Festival 2024.

As part of activities of Hue Festival 2024, on the morning of February 1st, at Thuong Bac Park (Tran Hung Dao Street, Hue City), the opening ceremony of the 2nd edition of Yellow Apricot Festival in Hue took place. This festival is organized to honor the distinctive flower species of the ancient capital - the Yellow Apricot of Hue.
