Attending the Opening Ceremony were leaders of the Ministry of Public Security’s professional departments; representatives of the Public Security of 20 provinces and cities in the Central - Highlands region, along with universities and colleges of the People’s Police and the People’s Public Security. On the side of Thua Thien Hue, there were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People’s Council, Provincial People’s Committee, Hue City People’s Committee, together with leaders of departments and branches, etc.
The 9th “For National Security” Health Congress and the 6th “Military and Martial Arts Competition of People’s Police” in Region 4 welcomes the participation of 20 delegations with nearly 4,000 athletes from the police of provinces, cities, People’s Police schools and units under the Ministry of Public Security.
Taking place from October 24th to October 31st, athletes will compete in many events, such as: Theory Competition, Team Regulations, People’s Police Rituals and Martial Arts, Shooting Competition, Crossing Obstacles, Healthy Police Soldiers, Running Applications, Men’s Football, etc.
At the Opening Ceremony, many attractive and unique programs were performed by the public security forces, such as: Going in Formation, Martial Arts, Qigong and Demolition Performances, Deploying plans to protect V.I.P, and Crossing obstacles.
This competition of People’s Police Regulations, Military and Martial Arts is one of the activities to demonstrate the strength, promote the Campaign “All people doing exercise, following the example of great President Ho” and the movement “Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland”. At the same time, it is an opportunity to demonstrate the strength, promote the emulation movement “For the security of the Fatherland” to obtain achievements to celebrate the important events of the country in 2025; contribute to raising awareness of compliance with the People’s Public Security regulations and promote the movement of physical exercise and sports, improve health, strengthen the physical strength of officers and soldiers and also an opportunity to exchange and gain experience in the practices of officers and soldiers of the People’s Public Security.
