Also attending the meeting were Standing Member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Phan Quy Phuong; Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang; and leaders of relevant departments and sectors.

At the meeting, representatives of VSIP expressed sympathy for the losses Hue endured during the recent floods, while also commending the city’s development achievements. VSIP shared its interest in exploring and investing in industrial park infrastructure projects in the locality. This is one of the enterprise’s key plans and objectives for 2026, with a commitment to bringing long-term benefits to the area.

A VSIP representative stated: “With extensive experience in developing and operating large-scale industrial parks nationwide, VSIP aims to build La Son Industrial Park - Zone 1 following a green - smart - sustainable model, prioritizing modern infrastructure, digital management, and comprehensive business support services”.

VSIP also emphasized its orientation toward attracting investment in high value-added industries such as clean technology manufacturing, electronics, advanced processing, supporting industries, logistics, and high-tech sectors - suitable with global supply chain shifts. La Son Industrial Park in Hue is an important link in VSIP’s strategy to expand its industrial park network in the central region, contributing to positioning Hue as a new destination for industrial investment and production-support services.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan acknowledged and highly appreciated VSIP’s interest in Hue. The city regards VSIP as an important partner that will accompany the city in economic development, investment attraction, industrial space expansion, and contributions to sustainable growth.

The city commits to providing the most favorable conditions and will work closely with the enterprise, offering support throughout the research and implementation process to ensure that future projects are carried out promptly and effectively.

Chairman Nguyen Khac Toan hoped that VSIP will strengthen its connections and deepen cooperation with the city, working together to build and develop Hue in a sustainable and modern direction.
