Nearly 5 years into implementation, the project “Promoting the Value of Ho Chi Minh Relics in Hue City to Serve Tourism Development” for the 2021-2025 period has attracted participation from nearly 10 travel agencies offering tours to the Ho Chi Minh Museum and other relic sites.

The art works by renowned artists from Hue, part of the collection of Hue Museum of Fine Arts, have just been introduced to the public. They are captivating not only for their emotional depth, but also as a special reunion of artists and art lovers.

Although familiar to collectors and enthusiasts of antiques, visitors still cannot help but feel overwhelmed when standing before the artifacts displayed at the exhibition “Jade and Ivory in Religious Art” at the Museum of Nguyen Dynasty Porcelains (114 Mai Thuc Loan Street, Phu Xuan Ward).

On the morning of September 9, at the Center for Conservation of Vietnam natural resources and Phong Dien rescue of animals and plants, the Vietnam National Museum of Nature - Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology held the opening ceremony of the Natural History Exhibition Room.

A kite originating from Hue, which has been preserved for nearly 60 years in a museum in the United States, was discovered by a Vietnamese restoration expert. Through numerous accompanying documents, together with a passion for cultural roots, that expert “told the story” about how the kite was ordered in Hue Ancient Capital, then taken all the way to the U.S., and became an artistic artifact, etc…. It was truly fascinating.

A wide range of rare artifacts crafted from jade and ivory are on display at the exhibition “Jade - Ivory in religious art”, organized by the Museum of Nguyen Dynasty Commissioned Porcelains (114 Mai Thuc Loan, Phu Xuan Ward), which opened on the morning of August 28.

Organizing STEAM educational experiences for students; a warm art night dedicated to mothers; a journey carrying books to a remote village; and a discussion with young people about French architecture, etc., these activities gave August a warm start at Hue Book and Culture Space - a cultural meeting place that, despite being new, has become a cherished part of Hue.

On the afternoon of August 26, at Ho Chi Minh Museum, Huong Giang Poetry Association of Hue City held a poetry and music program to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2).

The collection of fine art works of Hue Museum of Fine Arts grows steadily year by year. However, a worthy exhibition space for these works remains an unfulfilled wish.

More than 1,400 documents and artifacts previously managed by Thuan Hoa Ward Public Service Center have been handed over to Hue City Museum of History (268 Dien Bien Phu Street, Thuan Hoa Ward).
