The exhibition introduces to the public more than 200 photographs, documents, and precious artifacts, vividly retracing the historical journey of the Vietnamese revolution associated with National Assembly elections and the special role of President Ho Chi Minh in building a State of the People, by the People, and for the People.

The exhibition space is divided into three main sections, reflecting important milestones in the development of Vietnam’s National Assembly. Particularly notable are documents relating to President Ho Chi Minh’s activities for the first General Election of the National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in 1946. The exhibition also portrays His role in building, consolidating, and promoting the functions of the National Assembly during the 1946 - 1960 period, as well as leading the elections for the second and third National Assembly terms in the 1960 - 1969 period.

Through the photographs, documents, and artifacts on display, the exhibition contributes to promoting widespread information on the significance and importance of citizens’ rights in building a socialist rule-of-law State, while also evoking a sense of pride and responsibility among voters during the nation’s great festival.

Earlier, delegates had solemnly offered flowers in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, expressing profound gratitude for His immense contributions to the nation and the People on the occasion of His 136th birth anniversary (May 19, 1890 -  May 19, 2026).
