The exhibition "Ancient ao dai of the Nguyen Dynasty", in a collection of Prof. Dr. Thai Kim Lan, was opened on the morning of November 6 in Lan Vien Co Tich space - Huong River Museum of Antique Pottery (at 120 Nguyen Phuc Nguyen Street, Hue City).

"Walk this way, there’s the sun" is an open market organized by Ban Huu 054 group of friends, expected to take place today August 7th at Kim Long community garden (at the end of Alley 104, Pham Thi Lien street, in Hue city).

The 100th birth anniversary of the master artist Le Ba Dang was held at Le Ba Dang Memory Space, located on Kim Son hill, Thuy Bang commune of Hue city on the evening of July 23rd.

“Cycling - The story of a green road” is the topic of a seminar organized by Thua Thien Hue Institute for Development Studies in collaboration with the Danish Embassy in Vietnam, and Vietnam Ashui Group on the afternoon of June 7. The seminar drew the attendance of Danish Ambassador to Vietnam Kim Højlund Christense and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh.

At the Thai Family Ancestral House, Prof. Dr. Thai Kim Lan’s family had prepared banh chung, banh tet, phap lam, and phu the cakes from the previous day. After finding a satisfactory bamboo pole, the homeowner would perform a ceremony to worship the ancestors and then arrange incense table, candle, betel nut, wine, etc. in front of the yard to begin the ritual. Red couplets would also be prepared in advance and written in a conventional calligraphy style. In a dignified and joyful atmosphere to welcome the new year, the bamboo pole will be erected with the joyful jingle of the bell hanging from the top of the bamboo pole. The bamboo pole will celebrate Tet with the family and neighborhood until it is lowered on the 7th of January (Lunar Calendar) when everyone goes back to work in the new year.
