On May 10th, Hue - Urban Plastic Reduction in Central Vietnam Project (TVA Project), in coordination with the Department of Tourism and People's Committee of Thuy Thanh Commune (Huong Thuy Town), held the launch ceremony for the low-plastic tourism site at Thanh Toan tiled-roof bridge.

Flowing through the center of Hue City, the Huong River, a heritage river, is one of the iconic symbols of Hue Ancient Capital. In the years from 1930 to 1937, painter Mai Trung Thu was appointed to teach drawing at Quoc Hoc High School. Here, his talent blossomed. Series of his paintings were born, depicting gentle Hue girls, the charming scenery of the Huong river and the temples and royal mausoleums. His paintings in Hue rendered him a solid position in modern Vietnamese painting.
